Project Portfolio Details:
Comcast is the second-largest broadcasting and cable television company in the world by revenue (behind AT&T) and is also the largest pay-TV company, the largest cable TV company, and the largest home Internet service provider in the United States. Comcast is additionally the nation's third-largest home telephone service provider. It provides services to U.S. residential and commercial customers in 40 states and the District of Columbia. As the owner of the international media company NBCUniversal since 2011, Comcast is also a high-volume producer of feature films for theatrical exhibition, and over-the-air and cable television programming. Comcast was my dedicated client while I was working as Senior Agile Project Manager at BrightBill (Amdocs subsidiary company).

Overview

Problem Statement
Comcast and Amdocs have a very long partnership history and BrightBill it´s a structure dedicated to Comcast. By the time I have been there, I was responsible to support their product's daily basis demands and most important, to plan and successfully execute a SaaS product upgrade delayed by 3 years in 6 months. The scope was very complex and sensitive and the team dedicated to providing daily basis support was same assigned to this big project, so a detailed plan was created by me and my team and showcased to the Comcast audience.

Audience
> Senior Agile Project Manager (Amdocs side): 1 people;
> Senior Agile Project Manager Team (Amdocs side): 8 people;
> Business Team (Comcast side): 20+ people;
> Stakeholders (from both Amdocs and Comcast): 3 Directors, 7 Managers and 15+ Bosses

Constraints
Multiple different demands coming from Comcast so I had to balance with my project team on what could be delivered in parallel to the SaaS product upgrade deliverables and also cover some parked subjects that came to the table again because of their relationship with the upgrade project, increasing project scope.

Summarized Process Breakdown
1st. Step) Amdocs and Comcast aligned on the initial Product Upgrade project scope.
2nd. Step) Calls 3 times per week took place to go thru on SaaS product upgrade progress, parked topics from the past been added to the product upgrade project scope and daily basis demands to be delivered sprint-wise.
3rd. Step) Some negotiations took place to balance Amdocs team capacity versus SaaS product upgrade outcomes and what would be reduced from daily basis demands to be replaced by product upgrade deliverables.

Project Results
In the end, the SaaS product upgrade was successfully delivered including connected parked topics in 6 months as per the original plan, and such great achievement was celebrated by both Comcast and Amdocs as it was pending for 3 years before and allowed Comcast to increase NPS among their clients and allowed time-to-market average period 75% faster.
