Project Portfolio Details:
Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) is a multinational company from the Beverage industry with a variety of beverage brands such as Budweiser, Corona, Stella Artois, etc. The company has a challenging rewards program that includes big monetary incentives when the company plus employees hit their annual targets and that´s the reason why a robust target system needs to be in place not only to be able to store all evidence throughout the year but also to be available during the special period when all employees must access it and submit their targets plus evidence to their line manager to be reviewed together and approved right after. This process is called: Target Settings and Cascading (TSC Appraisal).
Names and special informations are classified, thus can´t be shared in this public page as per LGPD and GDPR clauses.
Overview
Problem Statement
The TSC Appraisal tool wasn´t been used by employees much often during the year and its interface was not much user-friendly, leading to several glitches, especially during the TSC Appraisal period, leading to delays in loading evidence, reviewing with the line manager and final approval not mentioning low E- NPS (Employee Net Promoting Score) also.
As a result of these previous experiences, HR Tower decided to implement a new project dedicated to improving the existing tool to offer a better user-friendly experience, faster which would also increase the E-NPS score post-implementation.

Constraints
The budget for this upgrade project was a constraint as TSC Appraisal happens once a year for a short period remaining nearly idle during the rest of the time. Still, when the time comes, this system is vital to be available as it´s directly connected to the bonus payout from the company to its employees.
Summarized Process Breakdown
1st. Step) In late July conversations were started to review tool availability and health checks steps running every year.
2nd. Step) In Late August HR Performance Manager and HR, Technical Support Team simulate heavy usage measuring key metrics indicators and planning a support plan for the TSC Appraisal period.
3rd. Step) In late September HR Performance Manager confirms to all HR department representatives that a new TSC Appraisal tool is available including how the support plan will work and some training materials.
4th. Step) Early January of next year it´s when TSC Appraisal from the previous year starts and employees have until mid-February to upload their respective evidence and review it with their line managers to get approved and submitted. A bonus payout will be available soon after that.
Project Results
The new TSC Appraisal tool was successfully implemented resulting in an increase of 50% from E-NPS, a reduced average time of 20% to upload evidence and made approval workflow more clear to each employee.
